Senior Photo Urban Fun

I am super excited to share more photos from the Evoke Workshop I attended in Oregon earlier this month. Last post, I shared the beautiful (inside and out) Lauren at the awe-inspiring Smith Rock State Park. Today I’m going to give you all a peek at our urban session. Both Smith Rock and Bend were fantastic, and inspired me to come home and find new Denver and Colorado locations to shoot in.

I constantly am on the lookout for possible fun locations as I’m out and about here in Denver. Sometimes the spots are totally surprising. Maybe they are behind an ice skating rink, or in a median. Sometimes I spy a spot in a neighborhood yard, and think I should knock on their door to ask if they would mind hosting my next session. OK, I don’t just think about doing, it, I actually have. And it was a great way to meet a new neighbor.

I do the same thing in the mountains, you all might be surprised to learn that what sometimes looks like a remote, lost in the middle of nowhere location, is actually just off a main road. Which is handy as it is kinda hard on a cute outfit if you have to hike a mile to get to your spot.

But just take a look at the inspiring and fun session we had in Bend.

We have had a crazy weather week in Colorado – did anyone get in a few last turns on the mountain? I can’t believe I had to turn the heat back on in the end of May. But the sun is shining today, I have back to back grad parties to attend this weekend, and I’ve already started booking for class of 2020.  We are so lucky here to have beautiful summers and falls, and sessions do fill up, so be sure to contact me for more information and available dates.
